01 This agreement
Couchd is made and operated by ZeroSuite, a sole proprietorship of Agassi Nadar, in India. These terms are between you and ZeroSuite. Using Couchd means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
02 Who can use Couchd
Couchd is for students aged 12 and over who are studying for Maharashtra state board exams. The app asks once whether you are 12 or older and records only that you answered. It never asks your age or your date of birth.
03 A new app
Couchd is new, and we are still finding out where it gets in the way. Expect rough edges: things may break, screens may change between versions, and a suggestion may occasionally be wrong or plainly odd. Telling us when that happens helps.
Your work lives on your phone and nowhere else, which has a consequence worth stating plainly: if you lose the phone, uninstall the app, or use Delete my data, that work is gone. There is no account and no backup yet, so we cannot restore it for you. Keep studying the way you already do; Couchd is not a place to store anything you cannot lose.
04 What Couchd does not promise
Couchd does not promise better marks. It cannot, and neither can anyone else. What it tries to do is help you decide what to study next with the time you actually have, and be honest about how sure it is. Nobody should choose Couchd over their teacher, their school, or their own judgement about what they need to revise.
Couchd is not a school, a tutor, an examination board, or a source of official information about your exams. Its chapter lists and weightages follow published Maharashtra state board material as closely as we can manage, and we correct them when we find them wrong, but your syllabus, timetable and results come from your board and your school. Check anything that matters against them.
Couchd is not counselling and is not medical or psychological advice. If you are struggling with more than a syllabus, please talk to someone you trust.
05 Using Couchd properly
There is not much to this. Please do not:
- copy the app, take it apart, or try to get at how it works inside;
- sell, rent or republish Couchd or anything in it, including its questions;
- use it to break the law, or to interfere with the app for anyone else.
06 What belongs to whom
Couchd itself — the app, its name, its design, the questions we write and the way it works out what to suggest — belongs to ZeroSuite. Using it gives you a personal permission to use the app, and nothing more.
The Maharashtra State Board syllabus and Balbharati materials belong to their respective rights holders. Couchd refers to official sources to verify syllabus coverage and factual accuracy, creates its own learning material and questions, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either. Your own work — what you type, your marks, your answers — is yours. It stays on your phone, we do not receive it, and we make no claim to it.
07 Your data
What Couchd keeps, what it can send, and what it never sends are set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. In short: everything you study stays encrypted on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on Help improve Couchd, and then only a short list of usage events that carries no name, no marks and nothing you typed.
08 Stopping, and changes to Couchd
You can stop at any time, and you do not have to give a reason. In the app, under You: turning off Help improve Couchd stops the usage events, and Delete my data erases everything on the phone. Uninstalling does the same. A parent or guardian can ask us to do this on a student’s behalf, and so can the student.
We may change Couchd, or stop offering it, at any time. It is free, and nothing is owed either way.
09 Liability
Couchd is provided as it is, free. We take real care with it, but we do not guarantee that it will be available, correct, or free of faults, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the strength of what it suggests — including how you choose to spend your study time before an exam.
Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here takes away a consumer right you have under Indian law.
10 Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and Indian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
We will update this page when Couchd changes, and date it at the top. Questions about these terms, or anything else, go to support@zerosuite.in.
